A rapidly expanding machinery manufacturer located in Baix Llobregat is seeking an Automation Engineer. RESPONSIBILITIES * Design with EPLAN and installation of electrical panels. * Wiring of sensors, actuators, cameras, and other control devices. * Programming and configuration of PLCs and touchscreens. * Integration of machine vision systems and smart sensors. * Updating and loading firmware and software onto equipment. * Commissioning machinery by functionally verifying electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. * Parameter adjustments and production testing. * Diagnosing and resolving technical issues. * Supporting the engineering team in designing new machines. * Managing technical documentation for installed systems. * Coordinating with electronic and automation component suppliers. Desired skills and knowledge: \- Minimum of five years’ experience as an Automation and Commissioning Engineer in the industrial sector. \- Advanced vocational training in regulation and control systems and/or a degree in Electronic and Automatic Engineering or equivalent. \- Knowledge of servo motors and axis synchronization. \- Experience integrating sensors, cameras, and vision systems. \- Knowledge of electrical panels and automation schematics. \- Strong programming skills using Tia Portal and CX\-Programmer. \- Familiarity with HMI interfaces and industrial communication protocols (Modbus and Profinet). \- Proof of English language proficiency at B2 level. \- Availability to travel nationally and internationally up to 20% of the time.
