**Ingeteam**, a leading company specializing in electrical engineering and the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators, and frequency converters, is seeking to hire a **Technical Specialist for Electrical Solution Design** within its **Hydrogen Business Unit**, located at our **Zamudio** facilities, to respond to customer requests by performing the following **responsibilities:** * Perform advanced technical calculations, simulations, and sizing to design new power solutions for supplying electricity to electrolyzers, aligned with customers’ technical specifications. * Respond to specific customer inquiries regarding product characteristics, technical calculations, or operational performance. * Select and specify relevant power components (e.g., transformers, protection devices, auxiliary systems, etc.) according to customer or project requirements. * Develop accurate technical documentation based on analysis, calculations, or simulation results, for internal use or customer presentation. * Ensure proposed technical solutions comply with applicable regulatory and quality standards (e.g., IEC, UL, CSA). * Analyze and coordinate with various departments within the unit to determine the optimal overall product. * Participate in generating new ideas and strategies to improve existing products or optimize ongoing designs. * Assume the role of liaison between the commercial department, the technical department, and customers. **Requirements** University degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics / Automatic Control Postgraduate studies in Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, Automatic Control, Electronics, or Industrial Control Technical knowledge of power converters, electricity, and grid connection. Advanced level of English **Preferred qualifications:** Experience in the energy sector Technical knowledge of MV transformers and MV switchgear.
