Responsibilities The Technical Assistant for Railway Electrification Supply Projects operates within railway construction projects, participating in the execution, supervision, and commissioning of energy systems associated with railway traffic control and safety installations. Activities are carried out onsite, involving a high degree of technical expertise and coordination with various project stakeholders. The selected candidate provides specialized technical support throughout all project phases, ensuring energy installations are executed in accordance with design specifications, railway regulations, and established safety requirements, while closely collaborating with site management and multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities: * Onsite technical assistance for railway signaling power installations. * Supervision of power line installation, electrical panels, and power supply systems. * Control of low-voltage electrical installations, backup systems (UPS, batteries), and electrical protection devices. * Verification of proper power supply to interlockings, signals, point machines, and trackside equipment. * Monitoring of functional and safety tests for energy installations. * Technical support to site management in resolving technical issues. * Coordination with signaling, telecommunications, and civil works teams. * Review of technical documentation, electrical schematics, and project drawings. * Participation in commissioning activities and preparation of monitoring and control reports. Requirements \- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics and Automatic Control Engineering, with specialization in electricity or industrial electronics. * Specific training in electrical power distribution networks. * Professional experience exceeding 5 years in design and/or construction of electrical supply or distribution systems at low or medium voltage in railway environments. * Experience providing technical assistance for power installations on construction sites. * Knowledge of power applications in railway signaling. * Familiarity with low-voltage electrical installations, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, and batteries. * Ability to interpret electrical schematics and power distribution boards. * Knowledge of railway and electrical safety regulations. * Experience with testing and commissioning procedures. * Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently. * Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, technical rigor, and safety orientation.
