At DXC Spain, we are seeking a **Security Operations Engineer L2** to administer, operate, and support SOC security platforms, ensuring their proper functionality, availability, updating, and optimization. You will be responsible for the technical management of cybersecurity tools, incident resolution, change execution, and support for SOC analysts, acting as the technical escalation point for L1 teams. **Requirements:** * **3\-5 years of experience operating security tools.** * **Experience as:** + Security Engineer. + SOC Engineer. + SIEM Administrator. + Cybersecurity Operations Engineer. * **Technical knowledge:** + SIEM (Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar…) + EDR/XDR (Microsoft Defender, Crowdstrike, SentinelOne…) + Operating Systems (Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory) + Cloud (Azure, M365, Entra ID) + Scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) **Responsibilities:** **SOC Platform Operations** * Administration and maintenance of EDR/XDR platforms and solutions. * Administration and maintenance of email security platforms and solutions (Proofpoint, Microsoft Defender). * Administration and maintenance of SASE platforms (Netskope, Zscaler). * Monitoring platform performance and capacity. **Security Tool Administration** * Microsoft Sentinel. * Microsoft Defender XDR. * TrendAI. * CrowdStrike Falcon. * SentinelOne. * Palo Alto Cortex. * Netskope. * Proofpoint. * Fortinet (FortiGate and FortiWeb). **Incident and Ticket Management** * Resolution of technical incidents related to SOC tools. * Troubleshooting integration issues. * Analysis of connectivity errors between tools. * Support for deployments and production rollouts. * Coordination with vendors when necessary. **Use Case and Maintenance Activities** * Activation and configuration of new event sources. * Adjustment of rules and policies. * Optimization of use cases. * Maintenance of playbooks and automations. * Execution of approved changes in CAB. **Associated Infrastructure** * Basic administration of Windows and Linux systems associated with the platforms. * Certificate management. * Service account administration. * API, token, and integration management. * Capacity control, backups, and housekeeping. **Why DXC?
