LASER CUTTING AND PROGRAMMING OPERATOR

Laserboost (Manresa), an online industrial platform for laser cutting and bending, is seeking to hire a Laser Cutting Specialist for the afternoon or split shift. We are looking for a technical operator with specific experience in Trumpf technology and knowledge of the Boost programming software. The selected candidate will be jointly responsible for production at the laser cutting center, performing the following tasks: Operation and Setup: Configuration, parameter loading, raw material handling, and supervision of Trumpf-brand laser cutting machinery. Technical Programming: Programming of parts and nesting using the Trumpf Boost software (cutting module). Bending (Highly desirable): Programming of bending machines using the Trumpf Boost bending module and basic operation of the bending machine according to drawings. Basic Maintenance: Preventive control of consumables and machine optics. * 1 year of experience required. Demonstrable prior experience (minimum 1 year) operating laser cutting machinery is mandatory, with preference given to candidates experienced specifically with Trumpf technology. Key experience requirements include: Software Knowledge: Practical experience using the Trumpf Boost software (cutting module). Experience programming bending machines within the same environment (bending module) will be highly valued. Technical Interpretation: Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and sheet metal developments. Material Knowledge: Experience adjusting cutting parameters for various thicknesses and materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass). Autonomy: Experience in machine setup, nozzle changes, laser beam alignment, and basic preventive optics maintenance. * Spanish (spoken Advanced, written Advanced) * Catalan (spoken Intermediate, written Intermediate) * Competencies / Knowledge: Autonomy: Experience in machine setup, nozzle changes, laser beam alignment, and basic preventive optics maintenance.
