We are currenly looking for a Traction Power engineer to join our successful team of Rail Systems in Madrid: **Here is what you will do:** * During all the stages of a project, contribute to design development, design risk and mitigation and value engineering, regarding traction power system and traction power substations. * Be part of the power systems team with responsibility and dependability, with a strategic and critical thinking, considering the needs of the projects and the team necessity with a flexible approach. * Take the responsibility on some parts of the projects in the development of the TPS design. * Produce technical reports and technical specification for the equipment and installations. * Development of electrical studies and collaborate in the TPS simulations for the sizing of the system and the location and main characteristics of the TPS equipment. * Space proofing design for the TPS installations, including cable routing design. * Attend design team meetings and defend/justify the design in front of the client or independent reviewers. * Liaise with BIM/CAD modellers for production of drawings. * Ensure that the technical and safety standards are maintained in all aspects of design work in order that successful project implementation and future reliability is achieved. * Be able to act as technical advisor and reviewer for traction power substations projects * Ensure that good design practices are followed.
