**Description:** ---------------- At Mercaconsult, a talent acquisition consultancy, we are seeking a Tech Lead to join a leading multinational company in the pharmaceutical and health sciences sector, located in Barcelona, which is undergoing an ambitious digital transformation and expanding its global eCommerce platform. If you are motivated to technically lead high-impact international projects and work with modern technologies in a collaborative environment, this could be an excellent opportunity. As Tech Lead, you will serve as the technical reference for the team responsible for evolving and scaling an international eCommerce platform. Your mission will be to define the technical strategy of the solution, lead the development team, and ensure that architectural, quality, and scalability decisions meet business needs—coordinating work across various departments and stakeholders. What will you do? * Technically lead the development and evolution of the eCommerce platform. * Translate business requirements into viable and scalable technical solutions. * Define the technical architecture and development best practices. * Set priorities, scope, and technical planning for initiatives. * Coordinate and support the development team throughout the entire project lifecycle. * Collaborate with Product Managers, architects, business teams, and other international stakeholders. * Participate in technical decision-making, evaluating impact, risks, and feasibility. * Ensure software quality, performance, security, and compliance with corporate standards. * Drive continuous improvement of processes, tools, and working methodologies. What do we offer? * Join a leading multinational in an international digital transformation project. * Contribute to a global platform using modern technologies and high-impact projects. * Employment contract: Permanent * Hybrid work model: 3 days onsite. 2 days remote work. * Annual gross salary between 70\.000 \- 80\.000 €, depending on experience. * Real opportunities for professional growth and technical development. **Requirements:** --------------- What are we looking for? * Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Lead Software Engineer, Principal Engineer, or similar roles. * Strong knowledge of software architecture and cloud application development. * Experience working with AWS. * Knowledge of technologies such as React, Node.js, Next.js, or Java Spring. * Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or equivalent technologies. * Experience leading technical teams and collaborating with business stakeholders. * Ability to make technical decisions and coordinate complex projects. * English language level: Professional, internationally fluent. * Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud is a plus, though not mandatory.
