Job Summary: Ingeteam is seeking an Automation and Electronics Engineer or Industrial Electronics Engineer to design, develop, and maintain converter control applications for R&D projects. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and development of algorithms and control applications for converters. 2. Participation in high-technology R&D projects. 3. Technical support during commissioning and incident resolution. **Ingeteam**, a leading company specializing in electrical engineering and the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators, and frequency converters, is looking to hire a professional with a background in: **Automation and Electronics Engineering, Industrial Electronics Engineering** to **Design, develop, test, and maintain converter control applications** **Plan, design, and develop application software and regulation specifications for Ingedrive converters** **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Design, develop, and test PLC and DSP algorithms and control applications for converters within high-technology R&D projects, managing approved material and technical resources efficiently * Maintain traceability and organization of developed software (version control, incident tracking, etc.) * Use management tools that support the developed software product * Provide technical support related to their area of expertise during equipment commissioning and/or field incidents * Resolve incidents related to their area of expertise * Perform functional verification and validation testing of the developed software; review and prepare documentation associated with the developed software product, including source code, algorithms, or control strategies * Propose improvement actions Ensure safety and health in their workplace and across all positions within their scope, in accordance with established procedures and current occupational risk prevention regulations **EDUCATION AND SKILLS:** Automation and Electronics Engineering, Industrial Electronics Engineering Programming (Codesys, C, C\+\+) Simulation Tools (Matlab, PSCAD) Advanced proficiency in office software Knowledge of Control Systems and Converter Algorithmics English language proficiency level: B2 Valid driver's license Willingness to travel CONTRACT DURATION AND TYPE: Contract tailored to the candidate's profile WORKING HOURS: Full-time JOB LOCATION: Zamudio At Ingeteam, we value diversity and facilitate the inclusion of people with disabilities.
