**Montea Centre** is looking to incorporate a **speech therapist** into its team with experience or interest in working with individuals with **Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)**. Main responsibilities * Conduct **speech and language assessments** and establish personalized intervention plans. * Develop and implement **functional communication programs**, both verbal and using **Augmentative and Alternative Communication Systems (AAC)**. * Intervene in **social and pragmatic language skills** (turn-taking, understanding instructions, language use in social contexts). * Rehabilitate possible **speech, voice, and fluency disorders**. * Address **orofacial motor and swallowing difficulties**, if applicable. * Coordinate with other professionals from the multidisciplinary team (psychologists, educators, occupational therapists, doctors...). * Provide **guidance and support to families and teachers** for the generalization of communication strategies. Requirements * Degree in Speech Therapy (essential). * Training and/or experience in **ASD** and AAC (valued positively). * Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team. * Strong communication skills, empathy, and motivation for working with children and young people.
