**Location:** Madrid / Hybrid (Remote work may be considered) **Sector:** Financial / Capital Markets **Contract type:** Permanent / Long-term **Job Description** We are seeking a **Software Development Lead** to join a strategic project within the **financial sector**, leading development teams and ensuring end-to-end execution of technology projects. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering software solutions, guaranteeing high standards of quality, efficiency, and alignment with business needs. Additionally, they will play a key role in the **production deployment** of solutions and **post-implementation support**, acting as the main point of contact for internal and external clients. **Responsibilities and duties** * Lead and manage development teams (PPOs), fostering a high-performance environment. * Planning, monitoring, and controlling the **project and evolutionary roadmap**. * End-to-end management of software projects. * Human resource management and control of the **allocated budget**. * Coordination and collaboration with **Projects, IT, and Business/Operations** departments. * Proactive identification of risks, resolution of technical and managerial incidents. * Ensuring compliance with **quality standards** for delivered solutions. * Management of external vendors, both for services and for contracted personnel. * Direct liaison with internal and external clients on all development-related matters. * Oversight of production deployment and post-implementation support. **Requirements** * Over **6 years’ experience** leading software development teams. * Solid experience managing technology projects in complex environments. * Certification in **Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2 or similar)** (desirable). * Functional knowledge of the **financial sector and/or capital markets** (highly valued). * Functional-level (non-expert) technical knowledge in one or more of the following technologies: * Java * PL/SQL * AngularJS * Cloud (AWS and/or OCI) **Offer** * Participation in high-impact strategic projects in the financial sector. * Stable, dynamic, and excellence-oriented professional environment. * Professional development and growth opportunities within the organization. * Competitive salary conditions commensurate with experience.
