Job Summary: Designs prototypes and develops spectrometry systems to evaluate qualitative properties of fruits and vegetables. Key Highlights: 1. The **MISSION** of this position is to design new prototypes and develop systems incorporating non-invasive spectrometry components to evaluate internal qualitative properties of fruits and vegetables, such as sugar content, acidity, dry matter, and ripeness. Among the main **RESPONSIBILITIES**, you will be accountable for: Developing signal or spectral processing applications to enhance existing programs for internal quality classification of all types of fruits. Designing new prototypes for the development of new technologies. Ensuring commissioning of electronic equipment at client facilities. **TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE**: C\+\+, C\#, Access and SQL Server databases Software design knowledge for embedded systems using C/C\+\+ under Linux Knowledge of Machine Learning and data mining using Python, Matlab, and R. **LANGUAGES**: Fluent spoken and written English. French is a plus. **OTHER REQUIREMENTS**: Willingness to travel **ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS**: Degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
