**What are we looking for?** We are seeking faculty members to deliver **online teaching** in degree programs offered by the **School of Engineering, Science and Technology**, supporting students' holistic learning in alignment with professional competencies, and carrying out necessary management and research activities to achieve optimal outcomes for each program. **What will your day-to-day responsibilities involve?** * Planning and implementation of teaching/tutoring activities. * Supervision of final degree projects and participation in examination boards. * Student guidance and academic progress monitoring (resolution of academic queries within a maximum of 48h/72h working hours). * Integration of emerging technologies into the teaching process. * Attendance at cross-cutting and horizontal coordination meetings. * Active participation in academic meetings/events related to the program and subject area. * Participation in / leadership of teaching innovation and research projects. * Publication and dissemination of research results. **What would we like to see in your CV?** * Degree in Computer Engineering or related ICT engineering disciplines. * A PhD or PhD candidate status in Computer Science or related ICT engineering disciplines is mandatory. * Mandatory accreditation from ANECA or equivalent regional agencies (e.g., ACCUA, AQU Catalunya, AVAP, ACSUCYL, among others). * Experience with Machine Learning techniques. * Experience in Big Data or Cloud Computing environments. * Experience in Information Systems and Databases. * At least two years of university-level teaching experience, preferably online. **Key Competencies:** * Software Development. * Systems Management: Administration of networks, databases, and scalable IT architectures. * Leadership Vision. * Innovation: Application of novel methods in Artificial Intelligence and Information Technologies. **How would we like you to be?** * Strong planning capabilities. * Ability to innovate in teaching. * Adaptability to change. * Communication skills. * Orientation towards academic excellence in online education.
