In our exclusive 5\* Gran Lujo Hotel, we are seeking to hire a Junior Sommelier, enthusiastic and eager to learn, who wishes to develop professionally in the world of wine within a fine dining environment. You will become part of a passionate team with access to one of the most comprehensive wine cellars in the region, featuring over 800 national and international references. Main Responsibilities: * Assist in wine service during lunch, dinner, and special events. * Support the Head Sommelier in daily cellar tasks (storage, organization, basic inventory). * Learn about wine pairings and wine lists through continuous training and daily work. * Help prepare tastings, wine degustations, or other wine-related activities. * Ensure proper care of service equipment, including cleaning, polishing, and maintaining work areas. * Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset and a strong desire to acquire oenological knowledge. * Guest Service: Provide personalized, high-quality service to guests, ensuring their satisfaction at all times. * Teamwork: Collaborate closely with other departments (kitchen, bar, reception, etc.) to guarantee a consistent and high-quality guest experience. Requirements: * Education in Hospitality, Catering, or demonstrated interest in the world of wine. * Specific qualifications valued (WSET, sommelier course, or similar, even if currently in progress). * Previous experience in dining room or restaurant (minimum 6 months, including internships). * Pleasant appearance, professional attitude, and strong learning ability. * Intermediate level of English; additional languages are an asset. * Passion for customer service and wine culture.
