**Job Description** At Veolia España, we are looking to hire a Junior Operations Engineer reporting to the Plant Director for the Waste Valorization facilities in Maresme (Mataró). Responsibilities * Supervise daily plant operations, optimize production processes, and monitor operational indicators (KPIs) * Collaborate in planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance, manage scheduled shutdowns, improve equipment reliability, and Asset Management * Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, participate in audits, manage permits and authorizations, and support the management of ISO 9001, 14001, and 50001 * Promote safety culture at the plant, participate in incident investigations, and implement improvements in HSE * Lead continuous improvement projects, conduct technical-economic analyses, develop optimization proposals, and prepare technical reports and presentations * Coordinate with different departments (production, maintenance, quality, etc.), participate in management meetings, and follow up on actions and projects.
