We are looking to expand our **Network Infrastructure team** with a **Junior Engineer for Dedicated DWDM and Optical Fiber Networks**, based at our offices in **Elche or Madrid**! The **Network Infrastructure team** is responsible for designing network architecture and planning its implementation, managing physical infrastructure through network deployment, project management, and coordination with suppliers. Additionally, the team handles preventive maintenance, incident resolution, security, and relationship management with customers, technicians, and suppliers. **What will your day-to-day look like?** * Design and management of provisioning projects over optical fiber infrastructures (cable laying projects, optical circuit provisioning, coordination of subcontracted supplier activities). * Support in evaluating wholesale connectivity service acquisition files based on optical fiber networks. * Evaluation and testing of new DWDM technologies and equipment. * Monitoring and oversight of companies deploying telecommunications infrastructures. * Design of high-capacity networks and DWDM circuits. * Knowledge of TESA’s regulated offerings: MARCO, NEBA, OBA, ORLA. * Rotating Level 2 support on-call duties for optical network failures. **What are we looking for?** * Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering or Higher Technical Degree in Telecommunications Systems. * Solid knowledge of Dual-Fiber and Single-Fiber optical networks. * Solid knowledge of Nokia DWDM equipment. * Familiarity with Ekinops and Infinera DWDM equipment is a plus. * Professional-level English (B2). * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, MS Project. * Proficiency in Visio. * Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in a similar role. **What can we offer you?** * Permanent contract and full-time employment. * Hybrid work model (50%). * Flexible start time between 8:00 and 9:30 AM. * Working hours Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, including lunch break; Friday: 8:00 AM–3:00 PM. * Intensive working schedule during summer months. * 23 working days of annual vacation to disconnect and recharge. * A great working environment!
