




Position Summary: Join us as a Junior Urban Strategy Consultant to contribute to strategic planning projects, primarily in air quality and climate action. Key Highlights: 1. Participate in the development of climate change projects Join the City and Territory team as a Junior Urban Strategy Consultant. Your mission will be to support technical and administrative tasks in strategic planning projects, primarily concerning air quality and climate action (mitigation and adaptation), following established guidelines and deadlines, and begin familiarizing yourself with the market and commercial portfolio. How will you add value to the team? What would be your challenges and objectives? You will participate in drafting and developing projects within the timelines and conditions set by the Solution: • Provide technical and administrative support to the consulting team in developing projects related primarily to air quality and climate change adaptation and mitigation, from the perspective of cities and territories (public administration). These projects involve tasks such as: • Document analysis and benchmarking (scientific articles, reference publications, regulatory frameworks, strategic planning frameworks, inspiring practical cases) • Data collection, analysis, and processing to develop diagnoses tailored to the subject matter. • Definition of strategic frameworks (vision, objectives, and lines of action) and design of action plans, including assessment of expected outcomes. • Establishment of governance frameworks and monitoring systems. • Outreach, consultation, dialogue, and/or co-design activities with involved stakeholders. • Preparation of final reports (strategic plans, monitoring reports, etc.). • Contribute to consolidating and transferring the company’s internal knowledge, methodologies, and policies. • Other tasks arising from project needs. * Experience: 1 year. 1 year of experience in air quality and climate change. * Competencies / Knowledge: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geography, Environmental Sciences, Territorial Studies and Planning, Territorial Planning and Environmental Management, City and Urbanism, Urban and Sustainable Planning, or similar fields. • Knowledge and at least 1 year of experience in air quality and climate change. Specifically, knowledge of existing regulatory and planning frameworks in these two areas and participation in projects such as air quality improvement plans or city decarbonization plans/strategies or climate resilience strategies will be valued, along with analytical and report-writing skills. • Additional experience using GIS or tools such as PowerBI will be considered an asset. • Languages: Catalan (C1), Spanish (C1), and English (C1). • Residence in Osona, Barcelona, or surrounding areas. * Permanent employment contract * Full-time position * Other relevant information: Location: Hybrid work arrangement, with one or two days per week on-site at the Manlleu or Barcelona office. Contract type: Permanent. Working hours: Full-time, Monday to Thursday, between 7:30–9:00 and 16:30–18:00, with flexible break time; intensive Friday schedule from 8:00 to 15:00.
