Comprised of a Java 8 Core Monolith, Spring Framework 5\.3\.x (without Spring Boot), Hibernate \+ IBM DB2, workflows with jBPM, and EAR deployment on IBM WebSphere. * Microservices: Satellite services in Java (e.g., fraud adapter). * Quality and Observability: SonarQube, JaCoCo, JUnit, Mockito. Monitoring via Logback, Graylog, and internal metrics. "Must\-Haves" Leadership and People Management (High Priority) * Active Mentoring: Conduct close, empathetic follow-up on tasks, especially for new team members. Technical Excellence and Quality * Engineering Standards: Promote good practices within the development team, including internalized practices such as code review, etc. * Architecture: Collaborate closely with the unit architect to jointly make strategic decisions in both legacy and modern environments. Prioritize and plan technical debt reduction. * Continuous Delivery and Monitoring: Ensure production service health using existing metrics and defining new ones. Strategic Collaboration * Close collaboration with the Product Owner: Actively participate in backlog refinements, providing realistic technical estimates and impact analysis. * Motivator and Catalyst: We seek someone with a proactive attitude, capable of injecting positive energy into the team and maintaining high morale—especially when tackling technical debt challenges. * Excellent and Approachable Communication: Ability to clearly and assertively convey ideas and objectives. Profile Requirements Technical Skills (Hard Skills) * Experience with Legacy Systems: Demonstrated ability to work in similar environments (Java 8, WebSphere, XML configurations, IBM DB2 databases\). * Knowledge of Microservices: Understanding of patterns, inter-service communication, and REST APIs. Spring Boot experience is a plus. * Clean Code: Mastery of design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean architecture. * Testing and Tooling: Solid experience with JUnit, Mockito, Maven, Git, and coverage tools (SonarQube). * Workflows (Desirable): Experience with jBPM or similar BPMN2 engines.
