Reporting directly to the Head of HR Technology \& Transformation, this role ensures that HR data is efficiently processed, stored, and accessible for analysis. By designing and optimizing data systems, the Data Engineer plays a critical role in empowering the HR team and other stakeholders from business to leverage data for strategic and operational improvements. ### **What you will do:** * Design and build data pipelines to automate data flow within HR. * Develop and maintain data architectures for people analytics. * Ensure data integration across HR, finance, and ERP systems. * Collaborate with analysts to optimize data models for reporting. * Implement data security and compliance measures in all architectures. * Support data visualization and reporting tools for people insights. * Troubleshoots and optimizes data processing workflows. ### **What you bring \& who you are:** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, IT, or related field. * Proven experience in building and managing data pipelines and architectures. * Strong understanding of data architecture, modeling, and integration techniques. * Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala for data pipeline development. * Expertise in tools like Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, SQL/NoSQL databases, and ETL tools. * Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). * Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross\-functional teams. * Ideally, certifications in Data Engineering or Cloud Platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics). * Proficient in English; German is an advantage.
