We specialize in helping businesses enhance business agility through ICT and guiding them on their journey toward digital transformation. **Your Challenge** * Understand business requirements, analyze and propose viable technical solutions, and collaborate within a team to ensure developed solutions align with the company’s strategic objectives. * Participate in defining system plans that guarantee alignment between technological solutions and business goals. * Collaborate in IT project planning—from requirement definition through solution implementation. * Identify areas for improvement in current systems and propose new technical solutions. * Analyze, design, and develop applications using Java and frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, Java EE, etc. **Responsibilities:** * Analysis and Design: Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications, documenting complex workflows and processes. * Technical Leadership: Supervise and participate in the development of web applications within the Java/JEE ecosystem. * Process Optimization: Implement work methodologies based on Specification-Driven Development (SDD) to ensure code is generated from precise, validated specifications. * AI Collaboration: Use agent-based AI tools to accelerate the development lifecycle and maintain clean, efficient code. **You’ll Need** * Education: Functional Analyst or technical professional holding a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other STEM-related university qualifications. * Knowledge: + Solid experience as a functional analyst and as a web application developer using Java technologies and recognized frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, jQuery, JPA, JUnit, Bootstrap, Angular, etc. + Minimum 3 years in a similar role. + Ability to analyze, document, and design business workflows and processes. + Knowledge of web application development within the Java/JEE technology domain. + Experience with relational databases. * Competencies: + Ability to work effectively in teams + Strong communication skills + Motivation for continuous learning + Client orientation + Initiative, proactivity, and a positive attitude **You’ll Stand Out If You Have:** * Experience developing with other technologies: Microsoft (Power Platform), Python * Experience developing RESTful services and/or integrating with external services. * Practical experience using agent-based AI for programming (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Antigravity, Codex, GitHub Copilot, etc.) * Knowledge of frontend technologies such as JavaScript, Vue, React, Angular **How IThinkUPC Cares for You** Immediate hiring Job stability and professional growth * ️ Work-life balance: We offer our innovative and award-winning "PEOPLE FIRST" work-life balance program because our people matter.
