Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior MERN stack developer with strong technical and interpersonal skills to design, develop, and optimize web applications, collaborating closely with the Spain-based team. Maintenance and optimization of existing applications DESCRIPTION We require **Senior MERN stack profiles**, capable and efficient both **on the backend and frontend.** **Experience:** Minimum **5\-6 years** with the specified stack. **Location:** Preference for on-site positions; remote work is also considered. **On-site requirement:** 4\-1 in Andalusia, 3\-2 in Madrid, or fully remote. **English:** Not mandatory. REQUIREMENTS MANDATORY TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS * Core Stack: Node.js (Backend), React (Frontend), MongoDB (Database), Express. * APIs and Version Control: REST API development and Git proficiency * DevOps / SDLC: In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle (deployments across environments, log management, process review, and maintenance) * PERSONAL COMPETENCIES AND METHODOLOGY * Code Quality: Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code, demonstrating awareness of impact and final quality * Problem Solving: Excellent debugging skills and ability to effectively resolve complex issues * Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and proactive attitude * Autonomy: Self-directed professionals with a positive attitude toward continuous learning * KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Design, architecture, and development of robust web applications following best practices * Close collaboration with the Spain-based team to understand requirements and deliver features on time * Conducting code testing (QA) and performing maintenance/optimization of existing applications
