Financial Director

We are seeking a **Financial Director** with extensive experience in financial management and strategic planning to lead the company's economic management. The selected candidate will be responsible for defining the financial strategy, ensuring the organization's economic stability, and providing key information to support the General Management's decision-making. This position requires strong analytical skills, strategic vision, team leadership, and in-depth knowledge of financial, accounting, and tax regulations. Responsibilities * Design and implement the company's financial strategy, aligned with business objectives. * Supervise accounting, treasury, budgeting, management control, taxation, and auditing functions. * Prepare and monitor the annual budget, as well as short- and long-term financial plans. * Analyze financial results and present periodic reports to Management. * Manage cash flow and optimize the company's liquidity. * Oversee compliance with tax, accounting, and legal obligations. * Lead the preparation of financial statements and ensure the reliability of economic information. * Coordinate internal and external audits. * Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies. * Manage relationships with banks, auditors, external advisors, and financial institutions. * Lead, develop, and motivate the finance department team. * Drive continuous improvement of processes, internal controls, and financial information systems. Requirements * University degree in Business Administration and Management, Economics, Finance, or related field. * Minimum **8 years** of experience in financial leadership roles, including managerial responsibilities. * In-depth knowledge of financial accounting, management control, taxation, and financial planning. * Experience in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and profitability analysis. * Knowledge of Spanish accounting and tax regulations. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or similar). * Leadership ability, decision-making capability, and team management skills. * Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications * Master’s degree in Financial Management, MBA, or related postgraduate qualification. * Professional certifications (ACCA, CFA, CIMA, or similar). * Experience in international or multinational environments. * Knowledge of financial transformation and digitalization processes. Languages * Spanish: Native or bilingual. * English: Professional level (B2/C1 or higher). * Additional languages are valued. Salary: €38,010.53–€135,480.88 per year Work Location: Remote
