Description

**Hello! We are OGA** We're thrilled that you're considering this employment opportunity. We are a pioneering company in the hybridization of Artificial Intelligence and Operations Research, headquartered in Seville. Our goal is to transform industries through innovative, high-impact solutions for our clients—leaders in sectors such as logistics, *supply chain*, industrial, and chemical. We achieve this thanks to the talent of our team—including mathematicians, statisticians, software developers, and others—as well as the trust of major clients. Furthermore, we maintain close collaboration with the university through our Technological Advisory Council, Grupo CÁTEDRA, composed of 14 nationally and internationally renowned professors specializing in Operations Research and data science, reinforcing our scientific value proposition and offering. **About the position.** We are seeking a **PhD in Telecommunications Engineering (or related disciplines)** to join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to developing advanced solutions for wireless communication analysis and information extraction from various radiofrequency systems. You will join a team comprising software developers, AI specialists, and system architects, contributing your expertise in signal processing and SDR technologies to convert radio emissions into useful information, subsequently processed by analytical algorithms and AI. We are not looking for a profile focused on RF hardware or antenna design, but rather someone capable of analyzing signals, understanding their operation, and integrating with the development team to build software solutions. **What will you do?** * Capture and analyze radio signals using SDR platforms such as USRP, HackRF, BladeRF, LimeSDR, or similar. * Characterize radio emissions by identifying parameters including frequency, bandwidth, modulation, timing, and other physical-layer characteristics. * Design and implement digital signal reception and processing chains to generate usable data streams for the rest of the team. * Collaborate in the analysis and understanding of commercial and proprietary wireless protocols used in communication systems. * Work with tools such as GNU Radio, Universal Radio Hacker (URH), Inspectrum, SigDigger, or equivalent for signal analysis and decoding. * Develop Python-based utilities and automation scripts to facilitate signal analysis and processing. * Collaborate closely with software development and AI teams to integrate processing chains into OGA-developed solutions. * Participate in technical documentation, report writing, and knowledge transfer to the rest of the team. **First weeks at OGA** From day one, you’ll be supported by the entire team. The People department will organize a series of Onboarding meetings at three levels with different OGA leaders: covering general aspects and internal systems, the company’s purpose, and the technologies we use. You’ll also meet your Buddy, who will guide you—especially during your first month—throughout your integration process. Together with your Buddy, you’ll have scheduled meetings to address any topic facilitating your adaptation. **What do we require?** * PhD in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Physics, or related disciplines. * Professional experience in radio signal analysis, SDR, or digital signal processing, whether in professional settings, research projects, or demonstrable personal developments. * Knowledge of radiofrequency and digital communications. * Experience using SDR platforms (USRP, HackRF, RTL\-SDR, BladeRF, LimeSDR, or similar). * Experience with signal analysis and processing tools such as GNU Radio, Universal Radio Hacker (URH), Inspectrum, SigDigger, or equivalents. * Knowledge of digital and analog modulations (FSK, PSK, QAM, OFDM, LoRa, among others). * Programming skills in Python for automation and signal processing. * Ability to interpret unknown signals and collaborate in developing reception and decoding chains. Intermediate level of English. * Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to produce technical documentation, and capacity to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams. * Possession—or readiness to obtain—the Personal Security Clearance (HPS) at a level equivalent to NATO SECRET / EU SECRET / National Restricted, committing to initiate the process upon joining and obtain final accreditation—or be in an advanced stage of application—within a maximum of 12 months. **What do we value?** * Experience analyzing commercial wireless protocols (Wi\-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, LoRa, ADS\-B, AIS, APRS, DMR, TETRA, etc.). * Experience in research or reverse engineering of communication protocols. * Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP). * Experience developing blocks in GNU Radio. * Knowledge of C\+\+ in addition to Python. * Experience working in Linux environments. * Knowledge of electronic and radiofrequency instrumentation (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, etc.). * Experience applying machine learning techniques to radio signal analysis. * Amateur radio license or active participation in SDR and radiofrequency-related projects. * Experience working under agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). **What do we offer?** * A dynamic and flexible work environment with technologically challenging projects and clients at our Seville office. * The opportunity to join a team passionate about data and technological innovation, composed of senior and junior profiles from mathematics, statistics, data science, software development, and other fields. * Ongoing collaboration with Grupo CÁTEDRA, OGA’s Technological Advisory Council, made up of 14 nationally and internationally renowned professors specializing in Operations Research and data science. * Access to various Generative AI tools that help accelerate delivery timelines, increase productivity, minimize fatigue and overload, and ultimately maximize OGA’s efficiency and profitability. * An onboarding session with OGA and People department leads, during which you’ll receive your welcome kit. * Participation in corporate events where you can meet and interact with the rest of the team in a relaxed and enjoyable way. * Attendance at the annual Grupo CÁTEDRA congress in Seville, presenting the latest advances and projects in Operations Research and data science, featuring a comprehensive scientific, educational, and debate agenda. * A continuous training plan. At OGA, continuous training is a core value and a pillar of our commitment to personal and professional development. Inspired by the concept of ikigai, we seek to help each person discover what motivates them and enables growth within the organization. Thus, we’ll propose training actions we consider valuable for your growth. However, you must take the initiative in your own development—identifying what excites you and proposing desired trainings to your manager. Together, we’ll evaluate their feasibility, added value, and alignment with OGA’s strategy. * Commitment to inclusion and diversity. At OGA, we take talent very seriously. We believe every individual brings something unique and special, so it’s part of our commitment to provide an environment where everyone can shine. * Social and professional benefits integrated into a comprehensive work-life balance plan. As a certified ‘Family-Friendly Entity’ \- efr \- since 2015 by the Másfamilia Foundation, OGA has developed an extensive catalog of benefits supporting your personal and professional wellbeing. **Join us!** If our innovative vision excites you and you’re ready to tackle daily challenges alongside industry-leading companies, we want to meet you! Apply now and join OGA to keep building incredible, high-impact solutions. *Of course, if you need any kind of assistance during the selection process, just let us know. Our People team will support you to ensure everything runs smoothly and you have a great experience.* We look forward to meeting you!
