If you enjoy continuous learning and specialization without worrying about uncertainty in your career horizon, take a look at this opportunity. #### **Job Description and Responsibilities:** * Automation: Develop scripts (Bash, Python) to automate routine and repetitive tasks, improving operational efficiency. * CI/CD pipeline automation: Design, implement, and maintain integration and deployment pipelines to automate software build, testing, and deployment processes. * Infrastructure management: Administer and optimize cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools. * Monitoring and logging: Configure and manage monitoring systems and logging tools to oversee application and infrastructure performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues. * Configuration and deployment: Use configuration management tools to ensure consistency and reproducibility across environments. * Collaboration with development teams: Work closely with developers to integrate DevOps practices, optimize workflows, and facilitate technical issue resolution. * Security: Implement DevSecOps practices to embed security across all phases of the software development lifecycle. * Documentation: Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation on system architecture, deployment processes, and best practices. #### **Minimum Educational Requirements:** * Technical or Higher Engineering Degree in Computer Science / Systems; or Vocational Training (FP) in Systems Administration. #### **Minimum Requirements:** * At least 3 years of experience as a Linux Systems Administrator, accustomed to working in critical environments requiring high availability. #### **Desired Requirements:** * Advanced Unix/Linux and networking knowledge; experience maintaining database servers; server and Syslog administration; management of high-availability environments; process automation; monitoring/scheduling tools. LPI, RHCE, or Linux\+ certifications are valued.
