Summary: This role involves providing design direction, supporting client briefings, developing moodboards, and guiding fabric sourcing for apparel design. Highlights: 1. Design direction and consistency focus 2. Agile support on client briefings 3. Experience with children's wear brands preferred ● Design direction and alignment, supporting overall consistency and clarity ● Agile support on client briefings, responding efficiently to feedback and development needs ● Development of moodboards and ongoing inspiration, helping to build dialogue with the client and progressively strengthen the design direction ● Fabric sourcing and material guidance, ensuring selected qualities work well across departments and client needs ● In terms of volume, this would typically cover approximately 15–20 styles per week, depending on complexity. Workflow ● Design direction and guidance, aligned with current client briefings. ● Fast selection and release of key styles, prioritizing speed so the team can move quickly into sample development. ● Once styles are selected, detailed development and tech packs also supported by junior designers. ● Ongoing coordination to ensure clarity, speed, and alignment across teams.
