We are seeking **Software Engineers** with at least **2 years of experience (or more)** in **software development**, **fluent French**, passionate about technology, and interested in joining a **high-tech talent ecosystem**, within a **multicultural environment**, and in an **active, dynamic, and open culture**. **YOUR ROLE** -------------- As a **Software Engineer**, you will play a critical role in the **design, development, maintenance, and optimization of Java-based applications**. You will work in a **multidisciplinary and international environment**, using **cutting-edge technologies**, within **agile environments**, and contribute to the **continuous improvement of development processes and best practices**. Within our teams, a **Software Engineer applies scientific methods to analyze and solve software engineering problems**. He/she is responsible for **researching and acquiring knowledge in their technical discipline**. He/she **collaborates and acts as a team member alongside other software engineers and stakeholders**. The **Software Engineer develops skills and expertise in their discipline to meet the standard expectations defined for the applicable role**, in alignment with our **internal Professional Communities**. As a **Senior Software Engineer**, you may also **assume a technical leadership role within your team**, and **collaborate on defining and improving software architecture and design patterns**. **YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES** ---------------- * **Software Development and Maintenance:** Create and maintain high-quality software applications using Java and associated technologies. Participate in developing complex features. Knowledge of the software development lifecycle. * **Collaboration:** Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and other engineers, to deliver robust software solutions. * **Code Reviews:** Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and security. Share best practices and development processes. * **Continuous Improvement:** Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance software engineering practices. Propose improvements in application development. * **Technical Leadership:** (for experienced profiles) Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring coding and design best practices. Help the team identify pending work within a project. Participate in technical impact analysis leading to budget definition. **YOUR PROFILE** ---------------- **More than 2 years of relevant professional experience. Knowledge of programming concepts, software design, and software development principles.** **Proficiency in Java:** In-depth experience with Java 8–17 (streams, interfaces, etc.), Spring frameworks, and accustomed to working with microservices architecture. **Software Development Lifecycle:** Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and methodologies such as Scrum. **Database Management:** Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including SQL and NoSQL. **Testing:** Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and debugging using tools such as JUnit and Mockito. **Version Control:** Experience with version control systems such as Git, GitLab, GitHub. **Communication Skills:** Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams. **Fluent French** for communicating with teams and clients (English is a plus). **Problem-Solving Skills:** Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. **Holding a disability certificate will be positively valued under our inclusion and diversity policy.** We review all applications.
