We are seeking a **Cloud Principal Architect / Lead Cloud Architect** to join our team in Madrid in a hybrid work environment. The candidate will be responsible for leading the cloud transformation program’s architecture, defining standards, and ensuring technological evolution across Azure, hybrid, and multicloud environments. They will play a key strategic decision-making role and serve as the main point of contact with executive leadership. Therefore, we promote an environment where every professional can develop, contribute new ideas, and participate in impactful regional and global projects. **Responsibilities** * Define the target cloud architecture for the program * Design enterprise-scale Azure Landing Zones * Lead decisions regarding modernization, consolidation, and repatriation * Establish standards for security, automation, and infrastructure-as-code * Define architectures for data and AI platforms * Ensure resilience through high-availability and disaster recovery patterns **Requirements** * Proven experience in enterprise cloud architecture with over 7 years in the field * Professional background in infrastructure and architecture exceeding 12 years * Demonstrable large-scale Azure experience * Experience designing corporate Landing Zones * Knowledge of hybrid environments integrating Azure with on-premises data centers * Knowledge of multicloud environments (AWS and GCP) * Experience automating infrastructure using tools such as Terraform or Bicep * Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ\-305\) * Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ\-104\) **Nice to have** * Familiarity with Well-Architected Framework and TOGAF * Experience with Azure Arc, Azure Hybrid Cloud, or Azure Local * Experience governing hybrid environments via Azure Arc * Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ\-400\) * Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ\-500\) * TOGAF or CCSP certification * Experience in technical leadership and communication with executive teams **We offer** * • Permanent contract with competitive salary• Flexible work arrangements and remote work options• Personalized career development plan and continuous training• Participation in stable, highly technical projects• Flexible working hours and focus on work-life balance• Social benefits tailored to your needs
