Real-world technical challenges involving complex cameras and large volumes of data. ### **Description** At Q\-tech, we collaborate with a Spanish technology company founded in 2004 and headquartered in Sabadell (Barcelona). Since its inception, the company has specialized in advanced security solutions, combining proprietary software, specialized hardware, and turnkey projects for critical infrastructure. It is the developer of SIV‑IP, a high-criticality IP video surveillance system capable of maintaining service continuity even when up to 50% of servers fail. **Job Mission** Develop and evolve the in-house IP video surveillance platform by implementing new features, enhancing system robustness, and ensuring high performance in mission-critical environments. ### **Basic Requirements** **Responsibilities** * Programming in C, C\+\+ and Java for platform development and maintenance. * Implementation of new features and evolutionary improvements to the product. * Development of robust and efficient modules for video management, communications, and device handling. * Integration with cameras and security systems from leading manufacturers. * Performance optimization, memory management, and multithreaded programming. * Working with sockets, TCP/IP communications, and network protocols. * Participation across the full development lifecycle: analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation. * Collaboration with engineering teams to ensure system compatibility and scalability. **Technical Requirements** * Experience in C and C\+\+ programming. * Proficiency in Java (intermediate level or higher). * Experience developing on Windows and Linux. * Solid understanding of TCP/IP, sockets, and network programming. * Experience with multithreading. * Knowledge of SQL. * Ability to work with APIs, SDKs, and third-party libraries.
