The values guiding us toward excellence are collaboration, innovation, commitment, fun, and trust. **What do we value?** Proven experience of at least **8–10 years in software engineering**, in a technical leadership role such as **Principal Engineer / Lead Architect**, specifically: * Extensive experience in **defining and evolving microservices architectures**, including application modernization processes (monolith-to-microservices). * In-depth knowledge of **cloud architectures** (AWS, Azure, or GCP), designing scalable, resilient solutions aligned with business strategy. * Solid experience with **containers and orchestration** (Docker, Kubernetes). * Proficiency in implementing **CI/CD pipelines** and automating the software lifecycle. * Practical experience with **Infrastructure as Code** (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation, or others). * Design and implementation of **REST APIs**, service-oriented and event-driven architectures. * Advanced knowledge of **observability, monitoring, and logging** (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Application Insights, etc.). * Experience in **high-availability and high-performance environments**. * Strong expertise in **event-based distributed systems**, with advanced experience in **Kafka** (topic design, partitions, consumer groups, exactly\-once processing, streaming). * Solid experience with **Redis** as a distributed cache, in-memory storage, and support for high-performance architectures. * Technical leadership ability, teamwork, and **effective communication** with both technical and business stakeholders. **What would your responsibilities be?** * **Architecture Definition and Evolution**: Define, evolve, and govern the technical architecture of corporate platforms, ensuring scalable, resilient solutions aligned with technological and business strategy. * **Application Modernization**: Lead technological transformation initiatives, driving the evolution from monolithic architectures to **microservices and distributed systems**. * **Distributed Systems Design**: Design and implement scalable, resilient, and **event-driven solutions**, with intensive use of **Kafka** and asynchronous messaging. * **Technical Governance and Standards**: Establish and ensure compliance with architectural, development, and engineering and DevOps best practices. * **DevOps and Automation**: Promote adoption of **CI/CD**, automated deployments, and **Infrastructure as Code**, enabling secure and continuous delivery. * **Cloud Architecture & Security**: Collaborate with security teams to implement **Zero Trust** models and secure, resilient cloud architectures. * **Technical Review and Guidance**: Review technical designs, ensure alignment with technological strategy, and act as a **technical reference and mentor** for engineering teams. * **Business-to-Technology Translation**: Translate business requirements into **robust, efficient, and long-term sustainable technical solutions**. * **Cost and Performance Optimization**: Identify improvement opportunities in **cost, performance, and scalability**, especially in cloud and high-concurrency environments. * **Platforms and Tooling**: Enable team autonomy by defining common platforms, tools, and frameworks. **And with us you’ll enjoy:** Permanent Contract **Hybrid work model with on-site presence at the client’s offices in Sevilla** Internal training and access to certifications.
