We are seeking a Veterinary Technical Assistant (VTA) for a veterinary hospital in Palafrugell. Care and monitoring of hospitalized and ICU patients. Support veterinarians during consultations. Assistance with diagnostic procedures. Support in surgery and anesthesia. Preparation, maintenance, and restocking of clinical materials. Reception, telephone support, and client service as needed. Administrative management using the QVet software. Maintaining order, cleanliness, and proper functioning of clinical areas. Supporting various hospital departments according to clinical needs. Duties vary depending on the department supported during each period. * Minimum 3 months of experience; prior experience preferred. * Veterinary Assistant * Competencies / knowledge: Proficiency in QVet software. Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to different work areas. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Good interpersonal skills with clients and animals. Proactive attitude, responsibility, and eagerness to learn. Experience in veterinary hospitals or high-volume clinical centers, and/or in reception and client service is highly valued. Knowledge of hospitalization, ICU, anesthesia, and surgery is desirable. Proficiency in English and/or French is considered a strong asset. * Permanent employment contract * Full-time position * Additional information: Rotating intensive work schedule with an annual calendar defined in advance. Participation in covering colleagues’ vacation absences within the auxiliary team. Gross monthly salary between 1\.400 and 1\.700 €, according to collective agreement.
