Summary: This role is for a Product Manager focused on AI, responsible for defining and driving the AI product direction across RemotePass, from early experiments to production-grade features. You’ll own how AI shows up across RemotePass — from early experiments to real, production\-grade features used by customers navigating complex global payroll, compliance, and payments. The challenge isn’t just “adding AI.” It’s making it actually useful in messy, high\-stakes workflows where accuracy matters. You’ll be working directly with the CEO, engineers, and operators to figure out: * What should be automated vs. controlled * How users interact with complex data through AI * Where AI genuinely reduces friction (and where it shouldn’t exist) A lot of this is not defined yet. That’s the point. **What you’ll do;** * Define and drive the AI product direction — not just features, but how it fits into the core platform * Work closely with engineering to ship, test, and iterate quickly * Get deep into user problems (payroll, compliance, ops) and turn ambiguity into clear product decisions * Make trade\-offs between speed, accuracy, and trust in AI\-driven workflows * Take products from early\-stage usable scalable * Act as the bridge between technical capability and real\-world use cases **Requirements** **What we’re looking for;** * You’ve built and shipped products in ambiguous, fast\-moving environments * You’re comfortable working on AI/data\-heavy products (you don’t need to be an ML expert, but you get the space) * You care about solving real problems, not just shipping features * You can operate at both levels: thinking strategically and getting into the detail * You’re comfortable with things being undefined — and making them defined **Nice to have:** * Experience in fintech, HRTech, or other complex operational domains * Exposure to LLMs, automation, or AI tooling in production environments **Benefits** **Why is this role interesting** * You’re not inheriting a polished AI product — you’re helping figure out what it should be * You’ll work directly with the CEO on a core strategic area * The problems are real and messy — global payroll, compliance, payments — not hypothetical use cases * There’s enough scale to matter, but still a lot to build and shape * You’ll see very quickly whether what you build actually works or not **Why RemotePass** * Global product, real complexity, real customers * Distributed team with high ownership * Fast\-moving, imperfect, and evolving — but with a lot of opportunity to shape it
