We seek a professional responsible for the **administration, optimization, and operation of MongoDB environments in production**, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and scalability. **Requirements** * 3–6 years of experience as a DBA or similar role administering MongoDB in production environments * Solid experience in: * Replica Sets and Sharding * Indexing and query optimization * Backups and recovery (mongodump/mongorestore, snapshots, cloud tools) * Knowledge of MongoDB Atlas (highly desirable) or on\-prem deployments * Experience with Linux/Unix * Scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, or others) * Experience with monitoring tools (Atlas, Ops Manager, Prometheus, etc.) * Advanced English level (international environment) **Responsibilities** * Daily administration and operation of MongoDB clusters (standalone, replica sets, and sharded clusters) * Installation, configuration, and upgrades of MongoDB * Performance and capacity monitoring * Analysis and resolution of incidents in production environments * Query, index, and data model optimization * Backup, restore, and disaster recovery (DR) plan management * Ensuring high availability and fault tolerance * Implementation of security policies (roles, users, authentication, encryption) * Automation of repetitive tasks (scripts, management tools) * Collaboration with development and architecture teams * Documentation of procedures and standards * **Desirable** * Basic networking knowledge (ports, latencies, firewalls) * Concepts of high availability and resilience * MongoDB certifications If this opportunity interests you—or if you know someone who fits—don’t hesitate to apply or share!
