Development of efficient data models and advanced analytics **Join our team as a Data Specialist** in the **Data & BI team!** We seek a hybrid data professional specialized in Microsoft technologies, with experience in both data analysis and data engineering. The candidate must be capable of developing efficient data models and performing advanced analytics in Power BI, mastering DAX, Power Query, and performance optimization of tabular models. Experience is required in data management and transformation on Azure, working with technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Analysis Services, and Azure Data Lake for data integration, processing, and storage, among others. Experience implementing scalable architectures with Azure Fabric, knowledge of data governance methodologies, SQL query performance optimization, and designing efficient solutions for processing large volumes of data is highly valued. **Mandatory Requirements** * **Experience**: Minimum 3 years working on data projects, including integration, modeling, analysis, and visualization using Microsoft technologies (Azure, Power BI, or Fabric). * **Essential technical knowledge**: o **Microsoft Azure**: Azure data stack for ETL, storage, processing, and analytics: * **Azure Synapse Analytics**: Data warehousing, Serverless SQL, Spark. * **Azure Data Factory (ADF)**: Pipelines, integration with diverse sources, Dataflows. * **Azure SQL Server / Azure SQL Database**: Administration, optimization, and advanced queries. * **Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)**: Structured storage for large volumes of data. * **Azure Blob Storage**: Usage for unstructured data storage. o **Power BI**: * Creation of complex reports. * Efficient data modeling and performance optimization. * Advanced measures and calculations in **DAX**. * **Power Query / M**: Advanced data transformations. * **Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS).** * Gateway configuration for hybrid connections. * Integration with Azure (Synapse, Analysis Services, Fabric, Dataflows). o **Power BI Service administration and management**: * Knowledge of Power BI capacities: * Power BI **Pro** and Power BI **Premium** (P and F SKUs). * Workspace administration. * Dataset refresh configuration. * Security and permissions in Power BI Service. * Power BI governance: Lineage View, access control, auditing, and dataset certification. * Power BI Deployment Pipelines: Managing the lifecycle of reports and datasets. o **Efficient data modeling**: * Design of star and snowflake schemas. * Performance optimization (DirectQuery, Import, Composite Models). * Use of indexes and partitioning in tabular models. **Desirable Knowledge** o Scripting in **Python** or **PowerShell**. o Experience with **Azure Fabric**. o **Azure Analysis Services (AAS)**: Creation and administration of tabular models. o Knowledge of Azure Machine Learning Studio. o While not mandatory, official Microsoft certifications in data technologies—such as **PL-300 (Power BI)** or **DP-203 (Azure Data Engineering)**—are highly valued. **Capabilities** * Teamwork and organization. * Analytical ability and curiosity. * Proactivity and continuous improvement mindset. * Client communication skills. **Great Reasons to Join Midway** * A truly hybrid model: possibility to work from the office or remotely, with full flexibility for employees. * You can flexibly distribute your fixed salary and take advantage of tax benefits by enrolling in Ticket Restaurant, Ticket Nursery, Ticket Transport, Health Insurance, and other benefits. * Each year we define a training plan tailored to current needs, focusing on both technical and methodological knowledge as well as professional skills.
