




09/12/2025 REF. OPEN We are seeking a Senior R&D&i Projects Consultant to join Sinerxia’s team. Job Description Lead commercial activities and technical management of Research, Development and Innovation (R&D&i) projects, with a strategic focus on securing high-impact public funding through programs such as PERTE, CDTI, and calls issued by the Ministry of Industry (MINCOTUR) and other ministries. Required Profile (Senior) Consultant with a proven track record in structuring and managing complex projects, accustomed to engaging with industrial management teams and working towards defined objectives. I. Education * Mandatory: University degree in Engineering (Industrial, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Chemistry, or related fields). English language proficiency at C1 level; knowledge of or qualifications in French and Portuguese are valued. * Desirable: Postgraduate degree or Master’s in Innovation Management, Project Management (PMP), or Commercial Management/MBA. II. Minimum Experience and Knowledge (5+ years) * Minimum Required Experience: At least 5 years of demonstrable experience in R&D&i consulting and/or business development related to public funding for companies. * Specialization in Public Funding for the National Industrial Sector: Practical experience and advanced knowledge in managing programs such as CDTI (R&D Projects), MINCOTUR calls, calls from other ministries, and participation in structuring projects aligned with PERTE. * Large-Scale Project Management: Experience in preparing and managing high-volume (€500,000 – €5,000,000), administratively complex project files. * Commercial Experience (Mandatory): Proven experience across the full sales cycle for R&D&i consulting services—from proactive prospecting and lead generation to proposal presentation, negotiation, and contract closure—meeting billing targets. * Financial Knowledge of R&D&i (Desirable): Experience analyzing investment cost eligibility and applying R&D&i tax deductions. Competencies and Skills: The candidate must possess the following competencies: * Technical rigor and business vision: ability to combine engineering-level technical rigor with strategic vision necessary to identify funding-related business opportunities. * Consultative communication skills: essential for technical sales, proposal presentations, and clear, persuasive writing of complex project documents. * Self-management and autonomy: required to independently manage one’s own pipeline of opportunities and meet call deadlines. * Teamwork attitude. Main Responsibilities: The selected candidate will join the Business Development Department and carry out the following responsibilities: A. Commercial Area and Business Development * Strategic prospecting: lead proactive prospecting and identification of new business opportunities within the national industrial sector. * Client management and retention: maintain fluid, proactive communication with Innovation Managers and Directors to inform them about relevant calls and support decision-making. * Represent the company at strategic events, forums, and other relevant gatherings. B. Technical and Consulting Area * Technical structuring: advise clients on the technical definition of their R&D and investment projects, ensuring eligibility and alignment with program requirements. * Expert writing: coordinate and draft the technical-economic reports of funding applications, guaranteeing maximum documentation quality and rigor. * Justification: supervise—and, where necessary, participate in—the technical and economic justification of approved projects.
