Collaboration with researchers and scientists **TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Support the development and implementation of the communication plan to effectively convey the center's scientific advances, activities, and events. * Draft and edit engaging and accurate content for a wide range of communication channels, such as press releases, articles, newsletters, videos, blog posts, and social media. Translate complex scientific concepts into clear and accessible language for non-expert audiences, ensuring accuracy and maintaining the scientific integrity of the project. * Collaborate with researchers and scientists to gather information and ideas, and develop stories and narratives highlighting the potential impact and relevance of their work. * Promote and cover scientific activities and conferences organized by the center, including creating web pages, producing promotional materials, and disseminating content via social media and specialized portals. * Support the preparation of communication materials and the collection of internal and external data, such as: annual report, reports, internal plans, etc. * Other tasks inherent to the department. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Education: Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, physics, engineering, or a related field. Master’s or postgraduate studies in science communication, either completed or currently underway. * Demonstrable experience in science communication or a related field. * Ability to work in a multilingual environment (English, Catalan, and Spanish). * Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (minimum B2 level). * Catalan language proficiency at C1 level, verifiable. * Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of web editing tools (WordPress); familiarity with Adobe Suite. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** * Experience working in CERCA centers. * Experience with digital communication tools (social media, Mailchimp, web content editing). **WE ALSO EXPECT THE CANDIDATE TO HAVE:** * Proactive attitude * Flexibility * Strong organizational skills * Teamwork orientation **CONTRACT DETAILS:** * Full-time position (37.5 hours/week). * Qualifications: The candidate must hold the academic qualification required for the position. * Estimated start date: July 2026. * Contract duration: Temporary (3 months, with possible extension). * Location: CRM facilities. * Flexible working hours and teleworking option. * Training and development opportunities. * Salary commensurate with the candidate’s profile and experience. **SELECTION PROCESS AND EVALUATION CRITERIA:** The selection process will be conducted by a selection committee comprising CRM’s Management, Administration, and HR departments.
