From Quirónsalud’s private hospitals in Madrid, we are seeking **Nursing Assistants** for the **Quirónsalud University Hospital Madrid**, located in **Pozuelo de Alarcón**, specifically for the **Operating Room/Delivery Room**. What will be your **mission**? You will assist and provide patient care in the surgical area, maintaining constant vigilance over patients’ conditions to collaborate in improving their health and well-being, in accordance with departmental procedures and policies, while working closely with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff for patient monitoring and treatment. What will be your **functions and responsibilities**? * Properly monitor the controlled substances circuit. * Correctly apply isolation measures. * Appropriately mobilize patients. * Verify correct preparation of surgical materials according to procedure and surgical specialty, and report any incidents detected before, during, or after surgery. * Initiate maternal health education regarding breastfeeding following the established procedure. * Act in accordance with the established “skin-to-skin” protocol during the first moments of life. * Properly control and maintain surgical instruments during the first moments of life. * Adequately handle, clean, control, and store specialized equipment. * Carry out required administrative procedures for patient admissions/entries and discharges/exits, as well as related documentation, facilitating the entire care process.
