At **Oxigent Technologies**, we are recruiting an **Embedded Linux Engineer** with strong expertise in the **Yocto Project** to join a high-impact project with a global leader in energy management and automation, based in Barcelona. You will contribute to the development of industrial-grade solutions, working with **ARM and x86 architectures**, in an environment where quality and automation are top priorities. **What will your main responsibilities be?** As a key member of the **Systems and Architecture team**, your **responsibilities** will include: * Designing, developing, and maintaining **Yocto** recipes and layers for open-source components. * Integrating and validating **Board Support Packages (BSPs)** on **ARM64, ARM32, and x86-64** platforms. * Optimizing and scaling **CI/CD** pipelines to ensure robust deliveries. * Designing automated testing infrastructures, including validation using **LAVA**. * Collaborating cross-functionally with **Product, Architecture, and Quality** teams to ensure long-term security and maintainability standards. **What do you need to succeed?** * **Experience**: Minimum **3 years in Embedded Linux development.** * **Languages**: Fluent English (B2/C1 level), as it will be your daily working language. * **Technology Stack:** * Expert-level proficiency in the **Yocto Project and Linux Build Systems.** * Solid knowledge of **ARM and x86** architectures. * Experience integrating **BSPs.** * Advanced skills in **Git/GitHub and Shell Scripting.** * Programming in **Python**. **What do we offer?** * Permanent contract via **Oxigent**. * **€50,000 gross/year** * **Hybrid work model**: 3 days in the office (**Barcelona – Sant Martí**) and 2 days remote. * **Flexible schedule**: Monday to Thursday, start time between 7:30 and 9:00 (8.5-hour workday), and **Friday intensive shift.** * **Training Voucher** for your continuous professional development. * **Private health insurance**. * **Flexible compensation**: Applicable to meals, transportation, childcare, and training. * Access to **gyms and sports activities** with discounts across Spain. **Join the Oxigent team!** We are a company committed to sustainability and equal opportunities, where talent and technology know no gender.
