Capitole Consulting continues to grow — and we want to grow with you! We are looking for a Technical Product Owner with 6–10 years of experience to join an international technology environment at a leading client. The selected candidate will contribute to the evolution of technical solutions in the \*\*M2M\*\* domain, acting as the functional entry point for the team and coordinating with various Product Owners, Global Product Owners, stakeholders, and technical teams. This is a Technical Product Owner role focused on backend platforms — not solely business-oriented. We seek a candidate with genuine technical background, capable of understanding configurations and logs, holding design discussions with Tech Leads and Architects, and operating effectively within distributed architectures, APIs, cloud environments, and event-driven systems.
KEY COMPETENCIES FOR THIS ROLE:
· Maintain and prioritize the team’s backlog with sufficient context for estimation.
· Write user stories with verifiable acceptance criteria.
· Ensure proper Jira management and hygiene.
· Track and manage technical debt, negotiating its inclusion across sprints.
· Prepare functional analysis in advance of refinement sessions.
· Act as the functional entry point for stakeholders and external teams.
· Identify, monitor, and escalate external blockers and dependencies.
· Coordinate cross-team requests related to certificates, domains, assets, permissions, APIs, and infrastructure.
· Coordinate with other M2M-area Product Owners and Global Product Owners.
· Prepare and defend quarterly business review (QBR) planning.
· Manage features, enablers, epics, Fix Version, PI Planning Sprint, and estimations.
· Participate in MidChecks and manage scope trade-offs.
· Keep timelines updated and communicate delays and blockers to the PMO.
· Work with event-driven distributed architectures.
· Understand messaging systems, producers, consumers, and asynchronous processing.
· Manage concepts such as idempotency, retries, and cross-system compatibility.
· Design or govern APIs and data schemas.
· Work with API versioning, compatibility, and documentation.
· Reason functionally about AWS and Azure cloud architectures.
· Work within scaled Agile frameworks and quarterly planning cycles.
· Coordinate multiple international teams and stakeholders.
· Ability to prioritize, make decisions, and solve problems autonomously.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills.
· Practical orientation, autonomy, and ability to maintain strategic vision.
