The External Communication Department, part of the Communication and Institutional Relations Division, is opening a call to fill a managerial vacancy within its team (specifically within the Informative Content Division). The External Communication Directorate (N2\) has among its main objectives safeguarding the corporate reputation of our organization by carefully managing information reaching the public through various channels such as media outlets or corporate social networks. To carry out its functions more efficiently, it operates across four interconnected areas \- informative content, regional, international, and media & social media reputational risk management \- which work transversally to achieve the Group's communication goals. Within the External Communication Department, we are seeking a committed individual with strong communication skills, particularly in media relations, and excellent oral and written proficiency in both Spanish and English. This person will join the current External Communication team at either the Madrid or Barcelona office to perform tasks related to corporate communication and media relations, as well as cross-functional projects that contribute to enhancing the entity's reputation and driving the development of new formats in external communication. This role will be part of the Informative Content Division, which coordinates media-related content management while planning, developing and executing strategies for various informational milestones, focusing on transforming communication toward new formats and narrative styles. Responsibilities: * Execution of communication actions for various informational milestones, as well as management of reputational risk situations with media outlets according to necessary measures to minimize their impact. * Planning, proposing and producing CaixaBank content primarily for distribution through media outlets and social networks, promoting availability in multiple formats depending on the channel/support used for dissemination. * Managing media relations on corporate, financial and business topics, including crisis management and reputational risk oversight in coordination with other areas of the External Communication Department. * Attending events, ceremonies and/or meetings with other organizations requiring representation from the External Communication Department. * Contributing, together with specialized teams within the department and elsewhere in the organization, to the development of innovation and digital transformation projects that introduce new formats and tools for informative content development and external communication. Minimum requirements * Higher education degree in Information Sciences, Advertising, Economics, Business Administration, or similar fields. * Proven and recognized experience in financial-economic communication, either from working within a media outlet or from inside a company or institution. Candidates must demonstrate skill in creating materials for media (press releases, dossiers, articles, etc.) as well as multi-format content. * Knowledge of social networks and emerging digital information formats. * In-depth knowledge of the organization and/or the financial sector. Additionally, interest and awareness of current financial, social and cultural issues. * Established network of contacts within media outlets and institutions/companies. * Languages: Spanish. Knowledge of English, Catalan and Portuguese will be valued. * Skills: teamwork, adaptability to change, high motivation levels, and strong ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks. It will also be essential to easily build trust-based relationships, act quickly and proactively, while maintaining prudence and careful assessment of the pros and cons of any approach and/or decision. * Availability to work preferably from Madrid and Barcelona (when required).
