The Bridge Crane Operator position is essential for logistical operations within a port or industrial warehouse environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials—primarily metal coils—using a high-capacity bridge crane. This role involves planning travel routes within the warehouse, properly securing loads, and coordinating operations with other team members to ensure a consistent, incident-free workflow. Precision and attention to detail are critical, as high-value, heavy materials are handled, requiring strict adherence to all established safety protocols to prevent accidents and damage to goods. The work environment is dynamic and may involve variable conditions; therefore, adaptability and concentration are highly valued qualities. The operator will use the machinery to transport coils from receiving areas to designated storage zones or to loading points for subsequent transportation. This position directly supports the supply chain by ensuring materials are available when and where needed, thereby enhancing the overall productivity of the facility. The role requires a thorough understanding of equipment capabilities and principles of heavy-load handling to perform all tasks competently and responsibly.
The contract includes a gross hourly salary of 12\.08 euros, with working hours from Monday to Friday on rotating shifts covering the time slots 6–14, 14–22, and 22–6. There is potential for overtime and Saturday work, as well as eligibility for productivity bonuses. The company provides a daily complimentary bag containing three pieces of fresh fruit, and the workplace offers convenient employee parking.
It is mandatory to hold a valid official Bridge Crane Operator license, along with at least one year of demonstrable experience operating this type of machinery for heavy loads. Possession of the Occupational Risk Prevention Training Card (TPM) and a Higher Vocational Training qualification in a relevant field—such as logistics or industrial maintenance—will be considered advantageous.
