Company-funded specialized training in the sector **About Ovum SPF** We are a biotechnology company specializing in the production of SPF (Specific Pathogen Free) eggs as an essential substrate for vaccine manufacturing. Our facilities in Cascante operate under European Pharmacopoeia standards and USDA regulations, with continuous veterinary supervision and a comprehensive traceability system. We are currently expanding and seeking someone who wishes to grow with our project. **The Position** We are looking for a veterinarian with proven ability to manage personnel and operations in a high-demand biological production environment. If you hold solid veterinary qualifications, are comfortable working in regulated environments, and can coordinate a team, we want to meet you. **Responsibilities** *Animal Health and Technical Supervision* * Supervise flock health status and monitor the health surveillance program * Perform clinical evaluations, interpret analytical results, and make decisions * Coordinate with accredited external laboratories *Production and Operations* * Oversee the production cycle and monitor production indicators * Identify deviations and manage operational incidents * Collaborate with the quality team to ensure compliance with applicable pharmaceutical standards * Draft and update technical procedures (SOPs) * Support management in operational planning and decision-making *Customer Relations* * Participate in technical visits and audits by international customers * Ability to fully conduct or receive an audit in English **Requirements** * Degree in Veterinary Medicine * Prior experience in environments requiring biosecurity, biological production, biomedical research, or the pharmaceutical industry * Demonstrated or clearly evident ability to manage teams and processes * Advanced English proficiency, enabling fluent technical communication with international customers and full capability to conduct audits in English * Willingness to relocate to Cascante **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in drafting regulatory technical documentation * Knowledge of GMP regulations or pharmaceutical quality environments **Conditions** * Permanent contract * Position with real responsibility and career growth within the company * Company-funded specialized training in the sector * Opportunity to join a leading biotechnology project * Remuneration to be agreed upon based on profile and experience Salary: €35,000.00–€45,000.00 per year Relocation/moving possibility: * Cascante, Navarra province: Commute to work without difficulty or plan relocation prior to starting employment (Mandatory) Application Questions: * Do you hold a degree in Veterinary Medicine? * Do you have your own vehicle and a valid driver’s license?
