You will work morning shifts from Monday to Friday. **A role of responsibility and leadership:** You will lead the Plant Controlling department, coordinating the team and ensuring the area delivers rigorous, useful, and decision-oriented information. **Direct business impact:** You will play a key role in analyzing production activity, identifying deviations, and generating relevant insights to improve plant profitability, efficiency, and operations. **Interaction with Management:** You will work in direct contact with the Operations Director and closely collaborate with Production, Finance, and other strategic company functions. **Holistic plant perspective:** This position will enable you to understand the business cross-functionally, linking financial information with operational and production realities. **An analytical and transformational challenge:** This is not merely a reporting-focused role. You will drive the evolution of controlling processes, identify inconsistencies, and promote improvements in traceability, coding, systems, and data utilization. **Stability and benefits:** You will join the company directly on an indefinite contract, with competitive compensation and private health insurance effective after six months. **What will your responsibilities be?** You will report directly to the Operations Director and assume responsibility for leading the Plant Controlling department. Your mission will be to ensure that the plant’s production and economic information is reliable, consistent, and useful for decision-making, fostering a culture of control, analysis, and continuous improvement. Your key responsibilities will include: * Leading and developing the Plant Controlling team, setting priorities and supervising their activities. * Ensuring the quality and reliability of plant information by monitoring KPIs, yields, manufacturing orders, inventories, costs, and master data. * Analyzing deviations and inconsistencies, identifying root causes, and proposing corrective actions and improvement opportunities. * Preparing and presenting management reports to Leadership, providing conclusions and recommendations to support decision-making. * Collaborating with Finance on closings, budgets, forecasts, audits, and performance analyses linked to industrial operations. * Leading improvement, digitalization, and automation initiatives for reporting, serving as the functional reference for Operations, Production, Finance, and other departments. **What will make you successful in this role?** We seek a candidate with a university degree in Business Administration and Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in industrial or plant controlling roles is essential—preferably within complex production environments—and you should have hands-on experience with operational KPIs, industrial costs, inventories, manufacturing orders, yields, and management control processes. To lead the department, you must demonstrate experience managing people or a proven ability to organize teams, set priorities, make decisions, and serve as a technical reference within the function. You must possess a high level of English proficiency and advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with ERP and production management or controlling systems—such as M3, SAP, CODE IT, Bizerba, or similar tools—is also essential. Knowledge of Power BI, artificial intelligence applied to data analysis, report automation, and process digitalization will be considered a strong advantage. You will be an especially strong fit if you are analytical, rigorous, and possess a holistic view of the business. You will need sound judgment to detect meaningful deviations, the ability to delve into root causes, and confidence to communicate findings and proposals to Leadership. Leadership capability, clear communication, and effective interaction with operational, technical, and finance professionals are also critical.
