Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior COBOL EGL Developer for a long-term project in the financial sector, focused on maintenance and development of core banking applications on mainframe architecture. Development of new functionalities on mainframe architecture DESCRIPTION At SG TECH, we are looking for a COBOL EGL Developer profile for the financial sector. This is a long-term project. **Job Description** * Integration into the Gravity platform for a long-term project. * Evolutionary and corrective maintenance of core banking applications. * Development of new functionalities on mainframe architecture. **Experience:** Senior (Minimum 5 years of experience with mandatory requirements.) **Location:** Madrid **Work Mode:** Hybrid REQUIREMENTS **Mandatory Requirements** * COBOL with proven production environment experience. * EGL (Enterprise Generation Language): development and maintenance. * DB2 as database. * z/OS environment, JCL, and CICS. **Desirable Requirements** * Prior experience in Santander Group projects or on the Gravity platform. * Knowledge of core banking (accounts, payment methods, positioning). * Agile methodologies and squad-based work. * Minimum B2 English (must be fluent) **Competencies** * Autonomy to manage developments from start to finish. * Functional analysis capability and resolution of critical incidents. * Communication with business teams and other squads. **Contract Conditions** * Duration: Long-term / Permanent. * Availability: Immediate or short-term.
