The Institutional Relations and Sustainability Department is seeking a CSR Project Manager to implement Carrefour Spain’s sustainability (and CSR) strategy, structured around four pillars: healthy and accessible nutrition; local products and development; circular action and zero waste; and climate and nature—as well as to propose projects to achieve sustainability goals within each of these four pillars.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the planning and organization of strategic initiatives to position Carrefour as a leader in the Food Transition, coordinating cross-functional participation from departments such as Merchandising and Private Label.
* Manage and strengthen relationships with strategic partners, fostering collaborations built on trust and mutual benefit.
* Design and drive action plans aligned with the Sustainability and CSR strategic plan, ensuring achievement of objectives defined for each pillar.
* Negotiate agreements and collaborations with external stakeholders to develop joint projects, enhancing the company’s recognition and visibility.
* Coordinate the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and projects across various geographies, guaranteeing their proper execution.
* Monitor key internal stakeholder communication channels (communities, working groups, surveys, barometers, etc.), promoting participation and active listening.
* Supervise compliance with Sustainability and CSR policies in stores, identifying deviations and promoting corrective actions to ensure proper implementation.
* Represent the company at sustainability-related events, conferences, and conventions, identifying trends and innovation opportunities applicable to the business.
* Collaborate on communicating and disseminating CSR initiatives through internal and external forums, contributing to the positioning of the sustainability strategy.
* Analyze customer trends and needs regarding sustainability and responsible consumption, providing value propositions for business units and supporting the development of new initiatives.
* University degree.
* Experience in food retail, preferably linked to sustainability and CSR, with sector-specific knowledge in areas such as packaging, food waste, merchandising, or quality, as well as experience managing cross-functional projects.
* Languages: Advanced level of English and/or French.
