Responsible for leading a specialized team in regulatory monitoring and normative implementation, ensuring early identification of regulatory changes and their appropriate translation into action plans for the organization. Will coordinate cross-functional regulatory projects, acting as liaison with Business Areas, Risk, Compliance, Legal Advisory, and Technology departments, guaranteeing efficient and supervisor-aligned implementation. Leadership and Team Management Lead, develop, and coordinate a team of specialists in regulatory monitoring. Set priorities and supervise the team’s activity execution. Drive professional and technical development of team members. Promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Regulatory Monitoring and Normative Implementation Proactively monitor national, European, and international regulatory initiatives. Analyze public consultations, regulatory proposals, supervisory guidelines, and approved regulations in the Digital, Retail, and Markets domains that may affect the Group, and internally channel them to relevant departments. Disseminate proposed regulatory changes and coordinate internally with affected departments to formulate the Group’s institutional position on new legislative initiatives. Present the Group’s position in monthly Expert Groups, aiming to discuss and define the Group’s stance on legislative and regulatory initiatives with impact. Defend CaixaBank’s position within associations (CECA, ESBG, Adigital, among others). Coordinate normative implementation, assigning responsibilities, categorizing regulations, and supervising compliance. Identify risks, opportunities, and impacts for the Group. Oversee all regulations requiring compliance and implementation, defining protocols and implementation processes. Track progress of normative implementation projects via a tool enabling inventory control. Manage project deadlines, prioritize tasks, monitor progress, and drive execution. Draft reports for Senior Management, Governance Bodies, and supervisors on normative implementation across CaixaBank Group. Minimum Requirements Law degree. Postgraduate studies in financial regulation, compliance, or risk management are valued. Minimum 8 years’ experience in financial regulation. Experience in financial institutions, supervisory authorities, or Big4 (FS Regulatory) — either in consultancy or project management (PMO). Solid knowledge of the banking and investment services regulatory framework. Experience leading complex regulatory initiatives. Experience coordinating and developing teams, plus strong communication skills with Senior Management. Advanced spoken and written English proficiency. What do we offer?
