Description

The position involves attending to customers, suppliers, and visitors, providing professional and courteous service at all times. Key responsibilities include managing the telephone switchboard—filtering calls and efficiently routing them to the appropriate departments—as well as controlling access by registering visitors and issuing credentials according to established protocols. Regarding correspondence, incoming mail and courier packages are received, registered, and distributed, with detailed records maintained. In addition, meeting room reservations and preparations are coordinated to ensure rooms are ready for use. As administrative support, basic tasks such as stationery management, filing, and ad-hoc logistics are performed. A proactive attitude and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic environment are required. The receptionist serves as the first point of contact; therefore, maintaining a positive and efficient image is essential. The role may also involve organizing internal events and coordinating with other departments. Strong communication skills, accuracy in information recording, and attention to detail are critical. Adaptability and teamwork are essential to support daily operational flow. At least two years of prior experience in similar reception or customer service roles is required, preferably within the hospitality sector. A certified bilingual English proficiency level (C2) is mandatory to manage international communications and serve foreign customers. Aptitude and motivation for the role, as well as the ability to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies, are highly valued. The minimum educational requirement is a Higher Vocational Training Cycle (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior) in administration, hospitality, or related fields, complemented by organizational and problem-solving skills.
