Quality Control Technician
Performs color adjustments and quality control for finished products and raw materials (if required) for coil and automotive applications, following company-established procedures to ensure the quality of all products manufactured at our plant.
Job Description
Perform color adjustments and quality control for finished products, ensuring compliance with specifications established for each product.
Escalate identified color and quality issues to enable timely corrective actions.
Manage and document samples of all products manufactured in the sample archive according to internal procedures.
Maintain and update technical information for all products.
Collaborate with R&D&I on the introduction of new products.
Actively contribute to continuous improvement of quality procedures and testing in accordance with continuous improvement standards and procedures.
Collaborate in the production monitoring of pilot batches of new products with production operators/supervisors to ensure correct adherence to manufacturing instructions.
Collaborate in the development of SOPs and conduct audits when necessary.
Ensure 5S compliance in assigned production zones and areas according to established standards.
Must be familiar with and comply with Plant policies, regulations, and procedures related to HSE&S, Quality, HACCP, and PS.
Set an example and access the workplace in full physical and mental health, without impairments that would compromise safety during assigned tasks, and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
Be aware of, trained in, and comply with all HSE&S requirements when performing assigned tasks across any Plant facility, understanding the disciplinary consequences of non-compliance with HSE&S requirements.
Audit and participate in all available initiatives, procedures, and actions aimed at preventing incidents/accidents involving any person present at the Company’s facilities. Specific actions are detailed in the file: “HSE Responsibilities by employee”.
Participate in assigned continuous improvement initiatives. Additional responsibilities as QC Technician:
Understand HSE&S requirements for performed tasks and implement appropriate protective measures (Personal Protective Equipment), setting an example for other team members regarding HSE&S.
Promote an appropriate working environment and comply with the Company’s Vision, Policies, and Quality and HSE&S requirements.
Must possess knowledge of HSE&S, ISO 9001 Quality, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001 Environmental Management.
About You
Vocational training in Chemistry
Team-oriented, methodical, organized, proactive in proposing new ideas and process improvements.
Computer literacy at user level; intermediate English proficiency recommended.
Proven laboratory experience. Proven experience in color adjustment.
User-level MS Office proficiency.
Proficiency in spoken and written English is preferred.
