We are currently engaged in factory improvement and optimization initiatives and seek to incorporate a **Process Engineer** into our Operations Department to help drive our operational efficiency and achieve operational excellence. **Role Mission:** As a Process Engineer, your strategic objective and greatest challenge will be reducing manufacturing *lead time* within a complex industrial environment. To achieve this, your central focus will be continuous improvement of workflows and progressive automation of our operations—transforming and simplifying current processes and operational variability to make them exceptionally efficient. **Key Responsibilities:** * Drive and design automation projects, transforming manual processes into automated operations. * Actively participate in implementing new digitalization systems, leveraging MES and ERP system integration. * Manage and reduce WIP (Work In Progress) levels, fully identifying and managing bottlenecks and losses. * Serve as the plant’s expert reference for intensive and proficient application of Lean Manufacturing philosophy and tools. **Candidate Requirements:** * **Education:** Engineering degree (Industrial Engineering / Industrial Organization Engineering preferred). * **Experience:** Minimum of 3–4 years of solid experience as a Process Engineer in industrial environments. * **Technical Knowledge:** Officially certified Lean training (e.g., Lean Green Belt / Lean Practitioner / Lean Expert or equivalent), with proven hands-on application ensuring mastery of Lean Manufacturing, process automation, method and time studies. Proficiency in Excel and CAD is mandatory. * **Technological Curiosity:** Genuine interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its application to enhance plant efficiency. * **Competencies:** Autonomy, strong analytical capability, and demonstrated ability to implement process improvements in environments with high resistance to change—interacting effectively with operators, middle management, and department heads, embedding continuous improvement as standard plant practice.
