FUNDACION CAMILO DE LELLIS needs a Nurse for a care center for dependent elderly people in Barcelona city. WE OFFER AN INDEFINITE CONTRACT. WORK SCHEDULE: MONDAY TO FRIDAY, 8\-3:00 PM. RESPONSIBILITIES: The candidate must hold the corresponding professional qualification and possess legal capacity to practice their profession. They will perform the duties outlined below, as well as any other tasks requested that are related to these responsibilities and/or to their professional qualification and competence: – In certain situations and whenever required by the company, this professional may assume coordination and supervision duties regarding the care services stipulated in the Care and User Support Plan, provided such duties fall within their functional scope. – Monitor and attend to users, addressing their general human and healthcare needs—particularly when such assistance is required. – Prepare and administer medications according to medical prescriptions, especially treatments. – Measure blood pressure, pulse, and temperature. – Collaborate with medical staff by preparing necessary materials and medications. – Organize clinical records and document data relevant to their specific responsibilities. – Attend to bedridden users due to illness, performing prescribed repositioning maneuvers, monitoring meal service for patients, and directly administering food to those requiring instrumentalized feeding (e.g., nasogastric tube, gastric tube, etc.). – Care for and clean the adhesive and stoma of colostomized users. – Monitor users’ personal hygiene, as well as medications and food stored in their rooms. – Address healthcare needs of the center’s staff, within the nurse’s area of competence. – Collaborate with physiotherapists in activities compatible with the nurse’s professional qualification, whenever their specific duties allow. – Place pharmacy, laboratory, and radiology orders in centers without specialists. – Monitor and oversee the implementation of physical interventions prescribed by medical staff, observing any incidents occurring during execution. – Cut toenails for diabetic users, users undergoing anticoagulant therapy, and users receiving treatment for ingrown toenails or nail infections.
