MY Refit Hub – Morvedre Yachting Hub Large Yacht Expansion Project – Sagunto (Valencia) Location: Sagunto / Sagunto Port (Valencia) About MY Refit Hub MY Refit Hub (Morvedre Yachting Hub) was established to create a new Mediterranean benchmark for yacht refit project support, maintenance, and management. Our goal is to provide a professional base for large yachts, connecting owners, captains, shipyards, technicians, and suppliers within a single operational environment. We are seeking a practical, responsible, and growth-oriented individual who wishes to join our project from its earliest stages and evolve alongside the company. We do not seek technical experience alone: we seek attitude, commitment, and eagerness to learn. The Position We are looking for a Naval Base Technician / Refit Assistant who will progressively become a key figure in the daily operations of MY Refit Hub. This is a highly varied role, combining on-base tasks, vessel support, and coordination with suppliers. Key Responsibilities Base Management * Daily opening and organization of facilities. * Receiving materials, equipment, and suppliers. * Tool and consumables inventory control. * Workspace organization. * Support in preparing refit projects. Technical Support * Onboard maintenance support for vessels. * Basic mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical work. * Preparation of equipment and materials for technical tasks. * Support for external technicians and contractors. * Resolution of minor incidents. Professional Development * Learning large-yacht maintenance and refit procedures. * Participation in high-end yacht projects. * Progression toward a higher-responsibility position within the hub. Candidate Profile * Responsible and organized. * Practical and solution-oriented. * Self-motivated and proactive. * Experienced working with tools and technical equipment. * Comfortable performing diverse types of tasks. * Eager to learn and advance professionally. * Values being part of a growing project. Attitude matters more than curriculum. Preferred Education / Experience * Naval mechanics. * Electromechanics. * Industrial maintenance. * Automotive engineering. * Electrical engineering. * Hydraulics. * Shipyard or marine maintenance. Also valued: * Experience aboard vessels. * Knowledge of diesel engines. * Welding or fabrication skills. * Composites. * Basic/intermediate English. * Valid driver’s license.
