We are seeking a maintenance mechanic to work in Sestao. Tasks include repairing and maintaining public works machinery, such as wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, and other heavy equipment. Responsibilities involve diagnosing faults, replacing parts, performing mechanical adjustments, and carrying out scheduled preventive maintenance. Periodic inspections will also be conducted to ensure proper operation and safety. The job involves rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, and night) and weekends, under a fifth-relief system. A temporary contract of 6 months is offered, extendable by another 6 months, with potential for permanent employment. Annual gross remuneration is €34,000, plus productivity bonuses. Training in industrial mechanics or automotive mechanics, prior experience, basic welding knowledge, and forklift operation skills are valued. We seek a proactive individual with strong teamwork ability and results orientation. Minimum qualification: Vocational Training (FP) at Intermediate or Advanced Level in automotive mechanics, industrial mechanics, or industrial maintenance. At least 1 year of experience in maintaining public works machinery is required. Basic welding knowledge, forklift operator license, wheel loader operator license, and driving licenses B and C+E are considered advantageous. Ability to work rotating shifts and flexibility in working hours are required.
